    Gagetown – Vet. Trumble former resident here, passed away at his home at Indian River Sunday and was brought to the Hunter funderal home here where funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Silas Parker of the Latter Day Saints church, Owendale, conducted the services and interment was made in Gagetown cemetery.

    Sheriffs Daugherty of Caro and Morris of Cass City were in the northern part of the state last week searching for Vet Trumble, formerly of Gagetown, who was accused of stealing ten gallons of whiskey from a car side tracked at Gagetown about a year ago. Trumble was found at Cheboygan where he was employed in a lumber camp and on Friday he was brought to Cass City and placed in the lockup and on Saturday he was arranged before Justice Anyon and plead guilty. He paid a fine of $65 and was released. Another Gagetown party is implicated in the theft and will soon be made to answer the same charges.
