Let’s Clean Up Beacon Hill

by David Trumbull

May 29, 2009

We’re all in favor of cleaning up the mess on Beacon Hill, but what about cleaning up the garbage in our neighborhoods? Charlestown resident and Massachusetts Republican Party Chairman Jennifer Nassour always says that Republicans should give back to the community, which is why she’s officially declaring Saturday, June 6th a Massachusetts Republican Day of Service!

Join us in volunteering to clean up Massachusetts. Jen and her staff and will be cleaning up DeFilippo Park in the North End. If you’re in the Boston area, come and join them! Volunteers will meet at the Party Headquarters (85 Merrimac Street, Suite 400) at 10:30 a.m. and start work at the park at about 11:00 a.m. Please contact Kaitlyn Greeley at Kgreeley@massgop.com or at (617) 523-5005 x248 with any questions. Kaitlyn says contact her as soon as possible so she can get your t-shirt size as the party is having shirts printed for the occasion! Also, if you have your own rake, broom, or other implements that would be appreciated, but is not necessary.

The Massachusetts Republican Day of Service is a great way for us to demonstrate the value our party places in public service. We hope you join us in encouraging fellow Republicans and others to help clean up Massachusetts!

I’ll be there. I hope to see you there too!
