Friends and relatives of
Merle and Sarah Kitchen
are invited to an open house
Saturday, Nov. 26, from 1-4
p.m. in honor of the couple's
50th wedding anniversary.
The evite which includes a
buffet luncheon
will be held at the Novesta
Church of Christ, 3-1/4 miles
south of Cass City. The
couple requested no gifts.
The open house is being
given by their son and his wife,
Robert and Marjorie Kitchen, and
their children, of Ontario, Ohio.
Kitchen and Sarah B. Sherman
were married Dec. 18, 1933, in Sandusky.
They farmed on Bay City-Forestville Road,
the former Keating farm, until they retired.
They now live at 6350 Houghton Street,
Cass City.
Kitchen was born July 29, 2009,
in Sanilac County. Mrs. Kitchen
was born May 2, 1915.
In addition to their son they have
seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
